Roxanne Shante - Pay Back - Pop Art Records - 1987

Classic Shante however, this does not seem to get much of a mention any more.

Imperial Brothers - Live It Up

Imperial Brothers - Live It Up - Cutting Records - 1985

The follow up single to "We Come To Rock" which was a hard record to follow however, "Live It Up " is still a great record in my book.

The Russell Brothers - The Party Scene

The Russell Brothers - The Party Scene - Portrait Records - 1983

Monster Electro record made famous in the UK by Mike Allen.

Does anybody actually know who the Russell Brother are?

I cant believe these guys never rapped on other records.

I originally owned both the issue and the promo of this however, I decided to keep only the promo version as it has and extra mix.

Captain Rock - Cosmic Glide

Captain Rock - Cosmic Glide - NIA Records - 1982

The earliest Captain Rock release and boy is it funky with Raps written by the legendary Dr Jeckyll & Mr Hyde.

Public Enemy - Public Enemy #1

Public Enemy - Public Enemy #1 - Def Jam Records -1987

Game Changing Single.

Cant forget hearing this come round a corner into the park on a boom box blasting at full volume in 1987.

This single is backed up by the awesome Timebomb on the B side.

I have seen this single change hands for $120. back in the early 1990's I beleive this is the very first press with small font writing on the label and stickered sleeve.

K-9 Posse - It Gets No Deeper

K-9 Posse - It Gets No Deeper - Arista Records - 1989

J.D.T.R. - Dady's Great - I'm In Love - Gas Records - 1987

Stumbled across this by accident many years ago while out looking for Hip Hop records & before the word diggin came into fashion. I have treasured it ever since and never seen another copy in the flesh.

Doug E. Fresh And The Get Fresh Crew - The Show

Doug E Fresh And The Get Fresh Crew - The Show - Reality Records - 1985

Absolutely massive record in the UK.

The B Side La-Di-Da-Di has been Sampled, Cut up, Scratched, and lyrics stolen and repeated in many a rap record.

Lightnin Lee And Poppy P - Big Time Chillin

Lightnin Lee And Poppy P - Big Time Chillin - Cut Up Records - 1988

Bought this in 1988 and remember it well, the shop only had one copy in stock.

The B Boys - Rock The House - Cuttin Herbie

The B Boys - Rock The House - Cuttin Herbie - Vintertainment Records 1983

Another awesome record from the B Boys. Again on this particular release I have kept in my collection both the original 1983 white and black label versions.

The B Boys - Two, Three, Break

The B Boys - Two, Three, Break - Vintertainment Records - 1983

Such a great record, I have kept in my collection both the original 1983 presses.

The white labeled version with the original Vintertainment logo that has the swoosh in the other direction and the lowercase letter "n" in the company logo.

I also have the other 1983 press on the black label with the original Vintertainment logo that has the swoosh in the opposing direction and the letter "N" as a Capital in the company logo.
