I had a discussion with Rich about this the other day. Everyone was saying you have to have the Nest Remix, even Mike Allen played it and said it was that particular version. However, the Nest mix is fairly bland and dull. It's the normal instrumental which is the version that used to get played on the radio.
Hi Slick, I think you're on to something here. Although my B side label says track 1 is the Instrumental, track 1 on the vinyl is actually the Nest Mix.
Therefore if Mike Allen had the promo and announced he was playing the Nest Mix, he may well have actually been playing the Instrumental unknowingly.

ReplyDeleteThink I found the problem with the Nest Remix. The promo looks like the versions are round the wrong way on side, the normal release is correct.
