Classic Duke Bootee production, not sure if I prefer the cover or the record. The interesting thing about the Beauty and the Beat label is that it was not based in Manhattan but in New Jersey.

I visited a record shop in 88 which had a box of Beauty & The Beat records outside for 50 cents each. I didn't realise at the time that it was actually the home of the label. Bought loads of stuff, mainly "King Kut", for 10 cents each in the end. Oh if only I could do it all again....
