Rammelzee Vs. K-Rob - Beat Bop Profile Records - 1983
Every time I hear this record I am taken back to the very early 1980's when Style Wars first appeared on British TV. This track was featured in the film and although disliked by many I grew to love it. Roll on ten years and Cypress Hill brought back this once forgotten style and delivery, however this time it appealed to the masses. Beat Bop was without doubt ahead of its time.
I hated this when it first came out. Heard it first on the Electro albums and it just didn't seem to fit with the style of the time. I grew to love it though and can appreciate it a lot more now.
